NOTICE – Annual General Meeting, Thursday 21st May 2026
Notice is hereby given to all members that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Swansea Yacht and Sub Aqua Club will be held in the Basement Function Room, SYSAC Clubhouse at 7pm on Thursday 21st May 2026.
- Notice of any alterations or additions to the Rules, intended to be proposed by a member of the Club must be sent to the Honorary Secretary, in writing, by noon Thursday 30th April 2026.
- Notice of all other business to be raised at the AGM must be sent to the Honorary Secretary, in writing, by noon Thursday 30th April 2026.
- Nominations for Officers and Committee Members, proposed and seconded with the eligible nominee’s agreement to serve, must be returned to the Clubhouse Office marked for the attention of the Honorary Secretary by noon Wednesday 6th May 2026. The following positions on the Executive Committee are open to eligible candidates:
Vice Commodore
Rear Commodore
Honorary Secretary
Honorary Treasurer
Membership Secretary
Ordinary ‘House’ Member (1)
Ordinary ‘House’ Member (2)Nomination forms are available from the Club Office.We would particularly welcome applications for the vacancies indicated. Please refer to the Club Rules (as amended) as regards to the eligibility of prospective candidates. Where any posts are being contested, the election will be by paper ballot.
Notices and Nominations of the above categories shall be included in the agenda which will be sent to each member together with a copy of the Audited Accounts prior to the AGM.
The AGM will commence at promptly at 7pm; please ensure that your attendance has been registered before taking your seat.
