Swansea Yacht & Sub Aqua Club is a friendly, long-established watersports club based on the River Tawe, right in the heart of Swansea. Whether you’re a boat owner, diver, or simply someone who enjoys being by the water, the Club offers a relaxed and welcoming place to spend time.
Marina & Boating
The Club operates its own marina and boat yard, providing secure non-tidal berthing and practical facilities for a wide range of vessels. Members benefit from reliable access to their boats at all states of the tide, on-site storage, and a supportive community of experienced boat owners who look out for one another.
Diving & Sub Aqua
Diving has long been a part of the Club’s identity, with an active sub-aqua section supporting recreational diving and social dive activities. The diving community within the Club is welcoming and sociable, offering opportunities of members to get involved, including organised dives and occasional “try dive” events for those interested in experiencing diving for the first time.
Clubhouse, Restaurant & Social Space
The Clubhouse is the heart of the Club – a relaxed, friendly space where members and non-members alike are welcome to drop in, unwind, and enjoy the atmosphere.
The Club features large screen TVs showing all the latest sporting events, making it a popular place to watch live sport in good company. Alongside this, the Club hosts a wide range of social events throughout the year, from formal gatherings to organised evenings and celebrations.
The Club is also home to a popular on-site restaurant, run by two of our own berth-holder members. Serving great food in a laid-back waterside setting, it’s a real asset to the Club and a favourite with both members and visitors.
Functions & Celebrations
Members have access to a dedicated function suite, available for private celebrations, parties, and social events. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion, the Club offers a unique waterside venue for memorable get-togethers.
